Mythological creatures around the world | Merfolk

Sirens come from Greek mythology and are beautiful, dangerous women who lures sailors with their enchanting music and voices to shipwreck on their rocky islands. Normally, sirens are pictured as alluring young women that sometimes have the wings or legs of birds. Some people believe the sirens might be cannibalistic and that they devour the flesh of the sailors they’ve, intentionally or not, killed.
