European dragons are usually depicted with four legs and one set of wings. They are huge and muscular and deadly both on the ground and in the air, and they breathe a fire hot enough to melt both weapons and armor. Brave are the knights who dare to face a dragon in order to save the princess; even braver are the rare few who manage to tame the giant beasts and ride them.
